Disney Blog Hop...and Graduation Gift Idea

Welcome to Day One of the Disney Blog Hop
You should have arrived here from Madison's Blog.  Wasn't her project just AMAZING....she is so talented!!!
We have a lot of fun in store for you.  Not only will you get to see some wonderful Disney Pixar themed projects, but you also have the chance to win prizes along the way!  And at the end of the day tomorrow there is even a way that you can enter YOUR OWN Disney Project into a challenge!
Marlo froContainYa Crafts has donated a GRAND PRIZE of  a Scrap'N Easel-Ette!

(yes, you have to come back for Day Two of the hop in order to win the Grand Prize)
Well here is my project.......My Niece Graduates this year and she is not a flowers type of girl so I wanted to make her something more her style.  She has beautiful long black hair so I though MULAN would be an appropriate representative.
I used a crystal vase and filled it with colored glass gems.

I used Happily Ever After Cricut Cartridge to cut Mulan button #47 on page 74 at 5"
I used Paper Doll Dress Up & My Gypsy to create a graduation robe & cap that would fit
1.50"x7.90"
I used clear packaging tape to tape all of the airhead candy to 1/8" x 12" dowels and then arranged them in the bowl.  I also used clear cellophane bags with bright pink lips to wrap the base of the dowels before adding them into the bowl to create a fuller look.
The bread tag was made from the Walk In My Garden Cartridge cut at 1.40" x 3.50" and then stamped with an I Cling Graduation stamp.
I used some green tule to tie a bow around the vase and then I added the bread tag to the knot.
Now for some BLOG CANDY.
Leave me a comment on this post and I will choose one lucky winner to receive this Tinkerbell rub-on sheet and an I Cling stamp set.  You don't have to be a Follower, but I always appreciate new Bloggy friends.
(Winner will be announced on the 22nd)
Now it is time for me to send you off to Lori's Blog
remember to come back tomorrow for the second day of the hop!
Here is a Graduation Mini Album that I made for my son that would also be a very easy project to make for your Graduating Senior.
Here is the entire blog hop if you get lost on the way!

Really clever bouquet! Dressing Mulan in the cap and gown was really a great touch, I can't believe you used Paper Doll Dress Up to do it (that Gypsy can do anything!).

you are so awesome! I love Mulan, at first I was asking myself, does she graduate, then I kept reading. Amazing that you got the outfit to fit!

Wow you did a great job changing the gown to fit your character. What a deliciously, smart idea.
I'll have to try it with Paper Doll Teen Scene because I wanted one that faced forward and they only had it facing to the side.
