Tip Tuesday! The almost Perfect Rosette!

Diana from DL Art has a tip to share with us!

Good Morning Friends.

I absolutely had to share this with you.  But I decided to do it in a video instead of a printed tutorial although you all may have preferred a written tutorial.

I hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching and being with me while I craft.

Have a blessed day, Diana

A beautiful song! If you could Hie to Kolob

Some of you know that my son Derek is now
Elder Derek Johns serving a two year mission for our church.
I woke up this morning trying to think of how my letter this week could offer him some inspiration on days when he is a bit down or feeling discouraged
 and then I remembered his favorite hymn.
It is such a beautiful piece of music so I thought I would share it with all of my blogging friends.
This version has a beautiful instrumental section and then is followed by the profound lyrics.
I can see why my son likes this song so much....so I think I will send him a CD that has this music on it so he can feel inspired and uplifted whenever he needs a little spark.
I hope it does the same for you on this Sunday morning.

Here are the words you will be hearing in case some of you aren't familiar with this hymn.

3. The works of God continue, And worlds and lives abound;
Improvement and progression Have one eternal round.
There is no end to matter; There is no end to space;
There is no end to spirit; There is no end to race.

4. There is no end to virtue; There is no end to might;
There is no end to wisdom; There is no end to light.
There is no end to union; There is no end to youth;
There is no end to priesthood; There is no end to truth.

5. There is no end to glory; There is no end to love;
There is no end to being; There is no death above.
There is no end to glory; There is no end to love;
There is no end to being; There is no death above.

Summer Adventures

What have you been up to this Summer???
Our family welcomed a new member: Nahia our foreign exchange student from Spain

We have her for only a month so we have been busy busy trying to share as much of Utah with her as we can.
The best way to get to know Utah is to take a tour of Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City.
Being an average 16 year old means being active so a trip to Classic Skate & Swim Park was a must.

This was just a warm up for her day at Seven Peaks in Salt Lake!!
Hey when I was a kid it was called Raging Waters.
Facials at home keeps us looking our best!

Time to enjoy nature with a hike up American Fork Canyon.....what a view!

Doesn't she just fit right in to our family!
I'm Queen of the World Mom!

Let's hope I make it to the top of the Timpanogos Cave Trail...is it really just a mile and half up!!

Completely worth the hike!

Summer adventures with the family......can't wait to scrapbook these into a
UTAH MINI ALBUM for Nahia so she will remember some of the highlights of visiting us!
Now it's your turn
Share a picture of your Summer Adventure with us.
I will choose one lucky winner next week to receive a Travel Acrylic Stamp set to help you
Scrap those memories!

Copic Project & Tips: Bratz Doll Card

So now that I'm Copic Certified I need to practice to keep up my newly learned skills.
Here is my first project post-class so I hope you see some improvement!!LOL

I created some mini composition books for my daughters to take with them to Girls Camp.
They have a tradition of having "Secret Sisters" while at camp so I thought this would be a fun gift they could share.....they liked them so much I of course had to make them a few to keep also!
Here is the actual card I created using some wonderful NEW Echo Park paper from my SHOP.
I have a couple of tips to share about working with Copics so I hope you will watch my video below.
If you have any ideas for future Copic projects let me know.....I hope to start my Copic classes at Hobby Lobby in Sandy soon.

Watch this Wednesday: The Bow Maker

The Creative Cutter Room
Several orders have gone out for my husband's Bow Maker so I wanted to take this opportunity to post a NEW instructional video.
If you need a good laugh or have always wanted to attend an exorcism then  watch the prior video just for fun!!
(I sounded possessed by Darth Vader.....yes really!)
Technical problems have now been corrected so I hope this video is clear.
If you have any questions feel free to use the Contact Me form above I am happy to walk anyone through it....it really is simple once you try it once or twice.

Tip Tuesday! Bow-maker and Gypsy Stand!

Hello again! It's Tonya from Itty Bitty Ladybugs.

I have a few things that stay on my desk at all times. My Circut and my CCR exclusive bow maker are two of those things.

As if the bow maker wasn't handy enough on its own I've found another use for it. I also use it as a Gypsy stand!

The Gypsy fits perfectly in the groove that is designed to keep your pegs from rolling away. I love how this keeps both my Gypsy and the cord out of the way of my Cricut mat when it's cutting!

Thanks for this fun tip Tonya!

Now here is your chance to win a Bow Maker of your very own.
Here's all you have to do:
1-Leave a comment on this post
2-Leave a comment on Tonya's site by clicking HERE
that's it....super easy right!  I would love it if you are a Linky Follower but it's not required.
I will choose one random winner next week to receive a
Creative Cutter Room Bow Maker
If you would like to order one of your very own then
