Shall We Dance Layout

Here is the finished 12 x 12 Layout featuring
DCWV Lavendar  & Lace Paper Stack,
G45 dress form clip
Making Memories Key & Lock charm
(I added DCWV paper & glossy accents to tie key into layout)
Used my bow maker for the bow on the Key
Prima Flourish
My own hand made flowers.
Cricut Don Juan for title
Gypsy font for names
and bling from my stash.
I wanted to make a two page layout to include the picture they purchased at the dance as well, but decided to make this one page instead to put in a Shadow Box for my daughter's room.
I will use the other photos for more layouts to add to her album.

Did you notice how GREEN the grass looks on the picture to the right?
that's because I fussy cut out the grass from the photo and adhered some beautiful green pattern paper from the collection to fill in the 4x6 photo from the back.
If you look closely it almost looks 3D like they are floating on fabulously green grass!

Shall we dance?

My daughter's boyfriend is a Senior so a few week's ago they attended Senior Prom together.

I had so much fun taking these shots I thought I would share them and then share a layout I created with a couple of my favorites tomorrow!
Careful not to poke him Sammy
He chose the safe option....smart boy!

Ignore my dead grass....this is what happened to it while we were in Hawaii!

I have a fun solution/tip for working around a flaw in your photograph....In this case I had to do something about the dead lawn....and I am not a Photo Shop expert so I had a more crafty solution.

What a gentleman! Helping her keep the dress from dragging as they make their way to their waiting chauffeur.  Aren't Dad's great.
Stop back tomorrow and I will share the finished layout.

Create your own Kiwi Lane style stencils

I made this 12 x 12 single page layout for the ladies in my Flower Making Class-it has been postponed for a couple of weeks-so I thought I would share a tip for creating your very own Kiwi Lane style template for future layouts.
Here is a video showing how I made a template of the above border edge-which allows me to easily make multiples of the page above or to save on a key ring for future layouts.
Thanks for Watching,

Graduation Card

This is the card I made for my niece that graduated yesterday.
I included a computer sentiment on the inside that said. Now you can SOAR above the airheads-since her gift was the vase full of airheads-and included a pocket for CASH (always a good Graduation Gift)!
The paper is DCWV
Felt bird & flower are from Michael's
Stamps from G Studios
Twine from the Twinery
