Home Decor: Greatest Show on Earth

I bought this Magnetic Chalkboard from Ikea and wanted to Dress it Up a bit so my little Kylee could have more fun with it.  I used Imaginisce's New Line called Animal Crackers.  I just love this paper!!! I made her a mini chipboard album with a Tiger on it that she can keep her pictures of our trip to the Circus in and the other characters are made using the Caousel Lite Cartridge & Animal Kingdom.  They are mounted on Chipboard and have small magnets attached so she can put them anywhere on the board she likes.  The trays on top of the Wild Animal Cages hold her chalk.  This was so much fun to make and she LOVES IT which is the important part.  Let me know what you think.  If you haven't had a chance visit Imaginisce's site they have more new paper out that is to die for-can't wait to go buy some!
How much do I LOVE THIS!!!!

HERE IS OUR TEAM

First Half of the Year:

Carri

Hello! My name is Carri but most of you know me a Abusybee. I was given this nickname a longtime ago because I always stay busy! (There are only so many hours in the day and I want to do so much!) I am a wife to a very supportive Husband, he is the one that bought me my Expression. I have an older son and two daughters. My daughters are ages 9 and 8 and they are future crafters! I love to make cards but like to venture out to try new tings. I am all about the challenge! I have been paper crafting since May 2009 and I truly enjoy every aspect of it. I am so excited to be a part of this great design team! I truly appreciate all my blogging friends and I am looking forward to meeting so many more!

Gaby

I have been crafty most of my life with different crafts and have only recently started scrapbooking and cardmaking.  My two grand daughters and one daughter are the usual featured subjects on my scrapbooks.  I reside in Southern California were I am a Teacher Librarian at two large High Schools.
Jenny

My name is Melin and I have been scrapbooking for several years. Scrapbooking/paper crafting is such a wonderful way to express yourself and at the same time leave a legacy for your family. My favorite form of paper crafting is paper piecing.  I love to share my passion for paper crafting with others. If I am not teaching a class, I am creating and cutting for the next. I also create page kits from my classes as well as digital stamps and cutting files to use with your electronic craft cutter. My favorite expression is: “Creativity is God’s Gift To You, What You Do With It, Is Your Gift To Him”. I hope my projects will ignite and inspire your passion for scrapbooking/paper crafting

Second Half of the Year:

Christel

Hello fellow scrappers! I’m Christel a.k.a. Scrappin’ Sista and I currently reside in Roanoke, VA with my DH and our four children.  Due to my DH’s job, we move a lot and will probably move again next summer.  We just moved here from Charlotte, NC.  Daylon our oldest is 13 years old and is in the 8th grade. The biggest new thing with him (no pun intended) is that and wears a size 14 shoe.  He’s going to need a job soon.  Christen is 9 years old and a dancer and artist.  She is definitely the shyest of the bunch. Danita is 7 years old and battles autism.  She is a phenomenal artist and I’m going to have to include some of her artwork in a project real soon.  Then comes Caleb.  He’s 5 years old and you will soon learn that he’s the spiciest of them all.  He started kindergarten this year.  Lord knows, my quiver is full.
My DH got me hooked on scrapbooking when he created my first album for me for Christmas in 2004.  I remember it clearly because he would sneak off on Saturdays and I was pregnant with Caleb.  You know the hormones were raging. Every since he presented me with the beautiful gift of love, I have been hooked.  I have recently started creating cards as well as altered projects.  I think my favorite thing to do though is create LO’s. My style is clean yet edgy with a touch of whimsy.
Until last year, I was a teacher.  I have taught 4th - 8th grades.  I enjoy teaching but with the DH’s job, it’s hard getting a job. So, I am at home until the afternoons when I work at the local Boys and Girls’ Club as a Recreation Specialist.  I’ll soon start teaching scrapbooking and Cricut classes at a local store.
I am super excited to be a part of the Creative Cutter Design Team.  I can’t wait.  I currently serve on the design teams for For Fun Challenges, Crazy About Cricut, and Cooking with Cricut.  I look forward to seeing all your creations for the challenges.  Let’s inspire one another!
Mollie
Hello all of my fellow craft friends! My name is Margie "Mollie"
Pagano. I started scrapbooking, card making, and paper crafting 11
years ago. I received a scrapbook starter kit for a bridal shower gift
and haven't stopped since. I have been married for 11 years, I have 2
cute kids that are growing up too fast. I hope you all enjoy my
projects!

Orlena (Returning DT member)

I enjoy Card Making, Scrap Booking, Stamping, Sewing, Quilting and attempting to incorporate them together into one craft project!  I like to keep all my things as organized as I can. Sometimes I feel like Im always organizing and rarely creating.I started my scrap booking with just a handful of pens, paper and scissors. Now I have several areas in the home dedicated to the wonderful world of creative products."

Please post a comment to welcome these ladies. We hope you will enjoy all of the projects and challenges we have in store for you this year.
