Welcome to another Tip Tuesday here at Creative Cutter Room

This is Gaby with a little tip on how to give the letters of your title or any cut a little bit more depth.  Or if you are just like me and do not like white edges most of the time....

 This is a plain letter (you can see I have already been doodling around on my inking mat).

 I take a plain brown marker (your kids might already have a crayola one) and trace around.

 Another option is to hold it with one hand on the air and go around it with your other hand.

 Here is a title using this technique.

And here is another title with a fun design all using the trace around with the marker technique.

Hope you enjoy.

@McVic
Both Joann and Michaels sell them

They come in different sizes... the larger is on sale for $10.79 at Joann --15"x18"

I calle it inking mat but the official name is Craft Sheet.

This reusable, non-stick, multi-purpose craft sheet offers a heat resistant, slick work surface for easy clean-up. Paint, glue and embossing powders peel off and inks can be easily wiped clean. Its generous 15''x18'' size is perfect for Melt Art projects, scrapbook pages, rubber stamping, embossing, iron-on transfers, polymer clay, painting and more.
