Spring Card
I created this card for the BoBunny Card Challenge this week using the new Jazmyne Collection Paper Line & Spellbinders shapeabilities die. I love this new paper--the colors are Fantastic. The matching sticker sheet for Easter is adorable! I will be making a new 2 page layout with more paper from this line---its so Gorgeous!!!!
Guess What!!!!
I am so excited! I created a project for a contest done with the My Pink Stamper blog. She was asking for entries and selected 8 ladies to be Designers on her team for the month. Sadly I was not selected, but she did select my project to be featured in the "My Pink Gallery" on her website. She will be posting my project pictured here and a link to my website. This is the first contest I've ever entered and after alot of convincing from my friend Anne I took a chance and I am so HAPPY I did. Thank you Anne and thank you my followers for all your encouragement to keep posting projects. Hope you like this Bird House Mini Album.

What I picked up at Expo.
So I did some power shopping at Expo-I was not blown away by any one thing but as always I found SOMETHING to spend my money on. I wanted to share some of the sayings that I liked.
Queen of the Crop- you may kiss my Bling! This one is going on my van immediately.
Scrapbooking Princess
Go Scrap yourself
I suffer from P.M.S. - Piles of Memories to Scrap.
Dump the Dudes-let's go scrapping
I also loved the Ice Cream eating contest-especially since we had some friends in it.
I hope everyone had a great time and found some great BARGAINS!

Cricut Cuttables Tip
I was teaching a class tonight and had a momentary loss of thought. I always share my 4 Tips for successfully cutting Cricut Cuttables (items other than paper cut on a Cricut) and could not remember them. So I thought I had better put them in writing in case I have another episode of Old Timer's Disease. The items these tips apply to are Chipboard, Fabric, Stencil Material, Stamp Material, Magnet Material, Acetate, and Embossing Folder Material.
Tips
1-Use a NEW or practically new Mat (must be super tacky to hold product in place)
If a new mat is not possible-use scotch tape on top & side of product to hold in place.
2-Try to select images or letters that are solid, chunky and full. Stay away from thin lines, script or complicated patterns for best results.
3-Put product on your mat in HOME position but use your cricut arrows around the cut button to position blade a little down and a little left of Home position. You will want blade to start cutting on the product rather than risk catching a corner
4-Slow speed down. A slower speed will give your blade more time to find the right groove to cut and will help prevent the blade catching and pulling on the material.
Hope this makes sense and helps you with cutting some other fun Cricut items. If after reading this your lost than please join me in a Cricut Basic Class. I love teaching you what is possible with your machine and watching you get the same thrill I get when thinking about my Next Project!

My Crafty Husband!!!!
I have shared this story with a couple of you and it gets harder and harder to keep a straight face when I do...so I will post it here on the blog. This way I won't have to repeat the story in a public place and have everyone stare at me when I say the word TAMPON DISPENSER. Yes, you read that correctly read on. When I returned HOME from a four day Scrapbooking Retreat I was surprised by my sweet Husband with a special project he had created just for me. (awwww) Apparantly while I was gone he spent a little time browsing the craft store shelves. He came across some photo boxes at Roberts that were on sale for a fantastic price. Being a very frugal shopper he was sure he could create something really cool with this BARGAIN-so he bought two. He proceeded to paint, wedge together and put handles on these boxes to create a mini-medicine cabinet for his unsuspecting wife-ME. It was adorable and when he gave it to me I was surprised & impressed. He even found pictures of the two of us to put on the front for display. I was thrilled but then the surprise was even better because when I opened the mini-cabinet I noticed he had drilled two holes and installed a dowel rod across one side. Pretty handy of him-Right? Well being held back by the dowel was my supply of Tampons standing neatly in a row. He was beaming and I was laughing hysterically. My sweet crafty thoughtful Husband had created a Tampon Dispenser for me!!!!! I told him he could probably make a fortune mass producing these-but I think this one for me will be his only one. So here's a picture of MY VERY OWN TAMPON DISPENSER.

Cricut Classes
I want to give a big THANK YOU to the studio coordinators at the Orem & Provo Roberts Stores: Alycia & Jeannine. This was my first week teaching in your stores and you did a fantastic job getting people signed up and getting me the information to make reminder calls. I enjoy teaching so much it was great to go out to other areas and be so well received. A big thank you to the ladies in my class-you were great, I love your enthusiasm for your Cricuts-it makes me want to be even more creative and share as much as I know with you. Same time next week remember to bring your glass item to etch, and a recyled cereal box. Cricut is so much FUN!!!!!
