Pioneer Layout
Pioneer Days are quickly approaching and since I will have trek pictures to scrap soon-- I though I would share my Pioneer Layout. This is made with older Karen Foster patterned paper and Bazzill Cardstock. The wagon is a shape I created on my Wishblade but can be easily done now with Cricut using a wagon shape from My World. Hope you have some fun Pioneer pictures or Days of 47 pictures that your adding to your album. Remember the old days when we thought it was fun to grab a bag of candy and our sleeping bags and sleep out on State Street in Salt Lake just to get a good seat for the Parade. My kids wonder why I thought that was fun when you can stay at home and watch the parade on HDTV!

Carry On--Carry On--Carry On!!
These are my Pioneers--Three of my kids have been on Trek this whole week and this is a snapshot I took as they were loading up. I hope to post more pictures when they return--but can you see the JOY in their faces?? Well maybe its not Joy exactly but I know they will come home enriched for the experience. Meanwhile my hubby and I have enjoyed entertaining our two little ones. He is home for nine days before he goes out of town for two weeks and boy am I getting some long over due items checked off the Honey Do List! I will post a short video showing the in between stage of the new Crop Room and more when its completed. I hope to be ready for a Yard Sale next weekend and a Friends Crop the weekend after that. Thank you for all the support it has beena FUN project to work on.

Will Post SOON!
So I have been busy as a beaver trying to get the new Crop Room ready---I cannot believe how much stuff I really have. What's worse is that its all over the place my Hubby can't believe how much stuff I have. It makes going to the store to pick up some new MUCH NEEDED ITEMS a little tough to explain. Well the good news is that its almost there. The bones are in---Thanks to my Handy Hubby (Handy Mandy has nothing on him) He broke out the level, his two drills and lots and lots of screws. My cabinets are in-there are shelves and bins and towers--oh my. Can't wait to share some pictures (as soon as I find my camera card). You guessed it lost in the shuffle. I want to have a crop as soon as it's ready and My Scrappy Friends can help me see how functional it will be. Bad news-In all the chaos posting new projects pretty tough right now :( Stay tuned I promise to get my new ideas cranking and some good old ones up and running soon. For those of you that received the Cricut Circle Invite today let me know what you think. Joining this exclusive group is going to cost $275.00. I like the concept but if I had that kind of money just lying around---I would have new cartridges by now!!! Silly PC I haven't decided which way I'm going--I will likely have to join---what else is a Cricut Addict to do??? I'll will keep you posted on this issue-but for those of you invited to join let me know what you think--inquiry minds want to know.

Cricut Lite
I have heard some buzz about new smaller cartridges called LITE cartridges. There are rumored to be 24 (at least).
These will be called LITE because they have 50 images and the layers for those images, but no Creative feature keys besides the layers. So no photo corners, card features, etc. Some of the images you have seen on a previous shape preview I posted but here are some other possible options. Of course nothing is certain till they are on the market. I will keep you posted.
Here are some names that have been floating around:

Baptism Mini Album
I attended my niece's Baptism on Saturday and made her this little mini album as a gift. I hope it gives you some ideas for a similiar mini album.
Graduation Projects
As I mentioned before I have been busy with Graduation Plans. What some of you don't know is I've been busy creating gifts and projects for my son and family members. Now that the Graduation Events are over I thought I would post a couple pictures of these projects and of the big day.
Puppies
I just couldn't resist taking a snapshot of one of my new puppies. My Bichon Frise Keira had her first set of puppies two weeks ago and they are just sooooooo adorable. They haven't opened their eyes yet and all four of them (3 boys and 1 little girl) are white with wavy hair. The little ones fit in the palm of my hand. So here is to having a camera handy. And yes I will be making a mini album for my babies!
