We are nearing our one year Anniversary as a Retreat Business and I couldn't have done it without all of your wonderful support.  Those of you that have been coming from the beginning I hope you can see the progress and changes we have tried to make.  We want to make each Retreat a Fun and Positive experience for everyone.  I thank you for learning and growing with us!

One of those changes is the cost:  We will be charging $130 across the board for all Retreat goers.  Those of you that have attend know that our Retreats are worth every penny and we will continue to offer the same excellent environment with even better little extras where we can.  Also this year we will try and provide some fun themes that will give us a focus for our Goodie Bags & Challenge Projects.  We are trying to provide a variety of classes both free and for a small fee to cover supplies.  Our Tools and Cartridges are growing and we hope to give you some fun options to add to your Scrapbook Pages.  We are also trying to improve The Grand Prize and will soon begin adding some Cricut Cartridges to the list of items in our give aways.  I hope these are all positive things that will encourage many of you to keep coming back and having a Fantastic Time with us in Eureka.

I will post April Classes at the End of February.  In April I will begin teaching  at the South Jordan & American Fork Stores as well.

I would also like to start a Card Technique Class.  This would be workshop style and would involve my teaching you one or two stamp, or card making techniques for $6.00.  I would do these once a month and would provide supplies.  Let me know if there is any interest in these workshops?????

New Gypsy Silicone Sleeves

We knew it was bound to happen-as soon as we buy a sleeve for our Gypsy in a color we don't hate they come out with colors we are bound to LOVE!!  Here is the one I want which will be released this spring.  There are four others being released a blue & green damask, black & yellow owls, red owls and Black & White Damask.  Will let you know when Roberts gets them in the Store.  Also be sure and watch for the HSN Launch on Feb 25th of the New Cuttlebug Emboss Pluss Folders. 

CHA New Releases-WOW!

I'm trying to keep up to date on some of the NEW STUFF coming out of CHA to see what is going to be the newest GREAT thing.  There is alot of old-new stuff coming at us this Spring from Provo Craft.  Some of you can probably quess this but it is now official there will be a new Cricut machine.  I am including some pictures as a preview.  This machine is geared to specifically cut & draw on gumpaste for Cake Decorators.  Our machines can now cut gumpaste(something not everyone knows) but this will be a new machine specifically for Cake Decorators.  It sounds interesting but I think the new line of Cuttlebug Emboss Plus Folders will have more people excited!  The plus is that they emboss-cut-and you can stamp the image right in one folder!  Yes I will be buying & trying this one out!!!!!

Cuttlebug will also release three new machines: A blue one to match the blue Expression Machine, a Red one with Red flourishes and a cute red butterfly and a Pink one.  The new embossing folders are larger in size and will work with new longer B plates also available this spring.  I'm sure there is more to come I will keep everyone posted as new product buzz gets around.

New Cartridges In !!

It took long enough but we now have the new Cricut Cartridges in stock at the Sandy Roberts.  This includes the limited release Mini Cartridges for Spring and they now cost $22.99.  If you have your JoAnn's add there is a sale on cartridges right now for $39.99 so bring the add and we will price match. 

Cricut Classes

There have been changes made at Roberts recently that I wanted to share with all of you.  The Studio Coordinators are now no longer able to teach the Cricut, Gypsy & Design Studio classes.  To maintain some consistency with the Cricut Classes I have decided to resign from Roberts and continue on with the company as an Independant Instructor.  This change has the positive outcome of allowing me to teach the Cricut Curriculum at several locations.  Right now I will be the instructor at the Sandy, South Jordan, Orem, American Fork & Provo locations.  I hope to see many more of you at one of these locations for a Cricut, Gypsy or Design Studio Class.  I will be teaching these classes as a two week course for only $25.00.  You will definately get all of the same information, tips and tricks.  I have received such positive support from all of my students that I want you to know I truly appreciate all of you!!!! Without your feedback I would have been really nervous to make such a big change in my life but I am extremely excited and enthusiastic for the FUTURE!!!   I will be seeing you all at a store near you.

Easter Basket Tutorial

Christmas Layouts for Sale

Now that the holidays are over we probably all have some pictures that we need to get out of our cameras and into our albums.  With this in mind my friend Anne has created these lovely layouts that will highlight those Holiday Memories.  I have 8 of each kit and will sell them for $6.00 each to anyone interested.  All pieces are pre-cut and include a color picture.  Email me with any questions or with your order. Sandy Roberts now has in stock the 12x12 Mats.  We ordered plenty now and hopefully we will not have a shortage again.  We also have printed paper on sale for 40% off.  Great time to stock up on paper for an upcoming crop or Retreat. 

Now Accepting Credit Cards

In an effort to make signing up for your Retreats more convenient we have added a PayPal Button to our web page.  Hopefully this added feature will make the Reservation process quick and easy for those wanting to use a credit card.  There is a small transaction fee involved of $3.20 when using this option.

NEW CARTRIDGES IN

Okay so its not Christmas anymore but if felt like that when I unpackaged some new Cartridges at Roberts last night.  The Sandy store now has Batman, Superman, Paisley, Songbird, and Tie the Knot in stock.  We also received many of the cartridges we were missing: Paper Doll Dress Up, Lyrical Letters and DoodleCharms.  So if you have some Christmas money your just dyeing to spend here's your chance to pick up some of the new cartridges for the sale price $39.99 (sale ends Saturday).

Beautiful Star Creation

I was reading one of my favorite blog sites and saw Step by Step Instructions on creating this beautiful Star that can easily be put on Cards.  The example is a Christmas Card but I think this star would be great on a Birthday Card or a Thank You Card.  I am including a link to the Splitcoaststampers site where you can see just how to create this Idea.   For those that do not have the punches but own a Cricut Machine-try using a window tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cartridge.  Isn't it great to be a Cricut Owner!!
