Talk Time Tuesday (a bit delayed)

So Talk Time Tuesday is a bit delayed.....because I'm having what else Technical Problems!!!

I must be destined to be old-school because the gadgets and I don't seem to be able to get along.

So last year at one of my Swarms in Elko, Nevada the lens of my flip cam was broken prompting me to finally get a web cam...then my computer crashed, then was hacked then eventually hijacked.  I purchased a new website, a new computer and of course the new computer and the web cam aren't quite friends yet.

Some of you noticed this when watching my Bow Maker -how to video- my voice sometimes seems a little shall we say possessed!  oh geeeez!!

So posted above you will see one of the many new cards I've been working on with my box of Momenta goodies.

Momenta sent all the D-lite design team members a very generous box of supplies for us to dig into and while I was taking this picture.... I dropped my camera and now the lens on my Nikon is broken!! Yes just call me butterfingers.

It will probably cost more to fix it then the camera is worth so I'm shopping for a new one.

I need the technology fairies to come by and sprinkle some pixie dust or silicone or something in my home so that I can continue to do what I love which is to share some crafty fun with my friends.

Thank you all for sticking with me through some really crazy stuff and for your continued support.

I know once I can get all of this technology working with me and not against me I can get super creative and start posting some things.

Meanwhile, I am so excited that you will all get to see my Design Team's first Challenge post coming up this week.

I've seen the projects and I know you are going to love their work.

Sketchy Mondays

Not to late to submit your child's project here for This is Kid's Stuff Challenge

So this weeks SKETCH comes from my littlest daughter Kylee.  She is 6 years old and this year I let my youngest girls design their own Valentine's to take to school.  

Kylee chose the Tangled store bought valentine's so she decided to put a Horse (white like the one in the movie) from the Animal Kingdom Cartridge to put on her bag topper.  

She let mom type the saying on the computer and she did the rest.

Using the E2 which she says is so easy to use (I had to do the size for her) she put in her horse image at 1.5 inches  and selected the auto fill (mom told her which button to push).

First she had to fill her treat bags with a heart shaped sucker, some conversation hearts and 

her Tangled tatoo card.

Then she folded her topper 4x4 squares folded in half and stapled them to the top of her bags.

Rather then worry about all of the layers for the horse...she just used a brown marker to color in the brown parts (she let mom do the contour lines).

Then she glued her sentiment and punched small red hearts with her fiskars punch and glued them on as an accent.

Tomorrow I hope to share Mom's version of her Valentine Topper since I was so inspired by her Design!!

I hope all of you are having fun getting ready for Valentine Parties at your children's schools.

I've eaten about 3lbs of valentine candy and we still have another week to go!!!!

Friday Funsense: Remember When

HEY,WASN'T THIS US ?

A little house with two bedrooms, one bathroom and one car on the street.  A mower that you had to push to make the grass look neat.  In the kitchen on the wall we only had one phone, And no need for recording things, someone was always home.  We only had a living room where we would congregate, unless it was at mealtime in the kitchen where we ate.

Design Time Thursday: This is Kid's Stuff

This week has been crazy busy for me!!  I received my wonderful box of product from Momenta and I immediately went to work to try and create some projects for submission calls.

I have a fun Haul video that I can't wait to share with everyone but for today I thought I would share something much cuter.

My 11 year old has the crafting bug and she recently pulled out her Baby Bug to help her with this very contagious illness!!!

She has been working on her own Valentine's for friends and an Adorable Door Sign for her Room.

So like the proud Mom, I thought I would share her work.

Since my design team is a week away from their first posting I thought for this week's Design Time Thursday we could all do a little bragging and post a project that is KID'S STUFF.....meaning made by our kids or grandkids.

Cricut Craft Room: Exporting & Importing Files

Since my Gypsy is in the shop for repairs I have been working a lot in the Cricut Craft Room and find that I enjoy it a lot.  It is much easier then Design Studio but it does take some practice to maneuver around easily.

Since a few of you did ask for the Cut file for the project I posted yesterday I thought I would also share a link to the Provo Craft video on how to import a file.
